Club Notes

There was a great turnout at the Paul Hegarty Memorial Cup game in Glenaulin on Saturday. The veterans of the '85 promotion team had a narrow win over the current crop (with a little help from the referee, from umpires and a host of linesmen) with two late points from the youthful looking T J Foley. Winning captain Frank Kennedy recieved the Bernard Byrne sponsored cup from the late Paul's mother and chairman Noel Fagan thanked all who were involved. Refreshments were laid on by our new sponsors Palmerstown House and everyone agreed that it was a most enjoyable day and night. Proceeds from a supported collection go to cancer research. Juvenile committee meets in the Parish Centre on Thursday at 9pm. Juvenile presentation night takes place in Coldcut on Tuesday January 16 at 6.30pm. Adult footballers Galway trip is this weekend 12-14 January, and they have Corofin in their sight for Saturday.

Lotto Draw

Lotto draw was held in Palmerstown House on Sunday. Numbers drawn: 29, 15,1 in that order - No winner. Three had first two numbers and recieved 34 pounds each. Next weeks Jackpot is 400 pounds. Draw takes place every Sunday night in Palmerstown House.
